South Farmingdale Water District will be conducting our hydrant flushing program from April 8, 2018 through April 20, 2018   Hydrants within the District will be flushed from midnight (12:00 a.m.) through 6:00 a.m. This is an important part of our annual maintenance program as flushing helps to clean out harmless sedimentation from the water distribution system.

NOTE TO ALL CONSUMERS:
PLEASE CHECK YOUR WATER BEFORE DOING LAUNDRY OR DRINKING TAP WATER AS THE WATER MAY BECOME DISCOLORED DURING THIS TIME.

If water is discolored, running the cold water for several minutes should clear it up.  If you have any questions or concerns, please call the District at (516) 249-3330. Our office is open Monday through Friday (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 a.m.).
